August 1, 1944 - August 31, 1945

Major Kuang Abhayavongsa was appointed Prime Minister, per Royal Command of King Rama VIII, (signed by Mr. Pridi Banomyong, Regent), dated August 1, 1944, exercised by Mr. Plord Na Sonkhla, President of House of Representatives, and he, in turn, appointed the Cabinet, whose names are shown below, on August 2, 1944.

          The Cabinet presented the policy to the Parliament and obtained the approval on August 3, 1944.

This Cabinet undertook these changes:

1. On August 24, 1944, Lieutenant-General Chit Munsilpa Sinadyodharaksa was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense.
2. On September 5, 1944,

- Mr. Po Rasamahara was appointed Deputy Minister of Interior and
- Mr. Prajuab Bunnag was appointed Deputy Minister of Public Health.
- Colonel Ruang Ruangweerayutha was appointed Minister.
- Mr. Thongin Phuripatana was appointed Minister.
- Air Vice Marshal Karpaya Dewaritthipanluk Dattananda was appointed Minister.

3. On September 20, 1944, M.L. Deja Snidvongs, Minister of Commerce, resigned from the position, due to grave illness.
4. On November 14, 1944, Lieutenant-General Jira Wichitsongkram was appointed Minister.
5. On January 1, 1945, Sridhammaraja Kanjanajoti, Minister, resigned from the position.
6. On January 6, 1945, Lieutenant-General Jira Wichitsongkram was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense.
7. On January 10, 1945,

- Major Kuang Abhayavongsa was switched from Minister of Finance to Minister of Commerce.
- Leng Srisomwongsa was appointed Minister of Finance and
- Duen Bunnag was switched from Deputy Minister of Education to Minister of Commerce.

8. On March 19, 1945, M.L. Udom Snidvongs was switched from Deputy Minister of Industry to Deputy Minister of Finance.
9. On May 2, 1945,

- Chao Phya Sridhammadhibes (Jitra Na Sonkhla) was removed from Minister of Public Health.
- Captain Luang Suphachalasai (Bung Suphachalasai), Minister of Interior, was appointed Minister of Public Health.

Remark: This Cabinet left office when the Prime Minister and the Cabinet resigned from the position, on August 16, 1945, claiming the Declaration of Peace had been already proclaimed, according to the Royal Command, as to follow the political tradition and seek the deem person of friendship and goodwill to run the state affairs, as for the national prosperity.
