Rear Admiral Thawal Thamrongnavaswadhi was appointed Prime Minister, per Royal Command of King Rama IX, (signed by Krom Khun Chainatnarendra and Phya Manawarajasewi (Plord Na Sonkhla), Regents), dated May 30, 1947, exercised by Rear Admiral Phya Sorayuthaseni (Krasae Pravahanavin), President of Senate, and Mr. Pueng Srichandra, President of House of Representatives, and he, in turn, appointed the Cabinet, whose names are shown below, on May 31, 1947.

The Cabinet presented policies to the Parliament and obtained the approval on June 5, 1947.

Remark:
This Cabinet left office when the Military Coup d'Etat took control of the State Administration and substituted the previous Constitution with the Temporary Constitution of 1947, (hence the dissolution of the Parliament) on November 8, 1947.
