The Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn

Order was established by King Rama IX in 1991 to be bestowed upon those
who have rendered devotional services to the Kingdom. It consists of seven

The Royal Decree of Decoration Conferment
(1991) bestow the Decorations upon two occasions.
1. Devotional Service to the Kingdom

Five years of devotional service to the Kingdom, from the last conferment.
- Outstanding service to the State, Religion and the People.
- Act of bravery for the State, Religion and the People.
- The first Decoration to be conferred is the Silver Medal or Companion,
in case of extraordinary service.

Deemed Person
Code VI of the Royal Decree reserves the right for a deemed person
to request for the Silver Medal of the Direkgunabhorn. Decorations
of higher class can be attained through years of excellent service,
until Knight Grand Cross is reached.
