Policy Announcement*

Mr. President,
Distinguished Members,

Persuant to His Majesty the King's gracious appointment of myself as Prime Minister, per Royal Command dated 1 August 1944 and the subsequent appointment of the Council of Ministers, per Royal Command dated 2 August 1944.

I believe it is not easy to administer the state affairs during the time of wars and it is amazingly difficult to administer the state affairs in the crisis. Nevertheless, I will work, together with the Council of Ministers, to the utmost of the capacity, in order to break through all the obstacles that the government shall find.
